This quiet park is attractive for those who enjoy a fresh breeze off the ocean and views of Stanley Park and West Vancouver. A mature Catalpa tree makes a spectacular show in early summer.
A small rock-lined stream meanders through Tatlow Park, crossed by small footbridges. Large trees tower over quiet seating areas, making this a quiet place.

Memorial West Park’s lively playing fields and courts attract many people from the surrounding neighborhoodd. With a charming interplay of restrained, forested areas and manicured, active spaces, most people will find something wonderful waiting at this park. It is easy to get lost in thought wandering the trails that link the active sports areas with the peaceful woodland.
Chaldecott offers a combination of large playing fields and smaller play areas; large old cedar trees shelter the playground area and rustle moodily on breezy days. During the summer, the spray park is a popular attraction for children of the neighbourhood.

Jericho Beach Park is 46.71 hectares in area; howeve,r a walk around the duck pond and along the seawall path is only 1.41 k, or approximately 1,850 steps. On average, it will take about 25 minutes to complete. With several trails and the seawall extending along the shoreline, it is easy to add distance to this walk if you are inspired and able to go further.
Hillcrest Park is a neighbourhood park located in North-East Cloverdale, adjacent to Hillcrest Elementary School. In the summer, the larger fields tend to get busy, so be sure to book of field if you have a formal team practice or game.
Hillcrest Community Centre is located in the Hillcrest Complex which has a Park Board operated rink, fitness centre and aquatic centre.
Riley Park is home to the Vancouver Olympic/Paralympic Centre and to Nat Bailey Stadium—home of the Vancouver Canadians baseball team. The area has two thriving hubs of unique boutiques, grocers, and restaurants: along Main Street and along Cambie Street.
Prince Edward Park’s play areas overlook an open grassy field, perfect for a game of soccer or for throwing a Frisbee. Relax on a bench or meet with neighbours for an evening stroll around the park.
Earles features a popular little playground tucked into a sheltered corner, and gentle slopes dotted with some very beautiful trees. First dedicated on March 30, 1961 and named for a bounding street, this park is a pleasant place to start your day or to enjoy an afternoon stroll.
Norquay Park is a popular spot on jogging routes, for tai chi, or for relaxing in the sunshine. The northern portion of the park was redesigned in 2011. New features include a rain garden which filters runoff from the new water spray park recharging the groundwater and providing water for landscape plants during the summer, a playground, sport court, tai chi area, pedestrian paths, benches and mosaics created by local artists and residents.
Elm Park offers many recreational opportunities, including lawn bowling, tennis, and field sports. Several benches offer engaging views of the park, and many people enjoy strolling under the lovely maple trees that line the park.

Strathcona Provincial Park, designated in 1911, is the oldest provincial park in British Columbia. Located almost in the centre of Vancouver Island, Strathcona park is a rugged mountain wilderness comprising more than 250,000 hectares. Mountain peaks – some perpetually mantled with snow – dominate the park.
VanDusen Botanical Garden is a botanical garden situated in Vancouver, British Columbia, in its Shaughnessy neighborhood. It is located at the northwest corner of 37th Avenue and Oak Street.
With the move of the Mount Pleasant Community Centre from this site to #1 Kingsway, Mount Pleasant Park underwent a major renovation in 2011/12. The newly redeveloped park features a central great lawn area, new playgrounds, sports court, parking lot, entry-level skate spot, a community garden, seating, universally accessible paths and picnic areas.
Tea Swamp Park is a small and beautiful park that is a pleasure to visit. Between a striking arbour and colourful community gardens, a curving dry stone stream and pathway slope down to a playground and rose-lined seating area. The name is a reminder of the Labrador tea plants that once flourished in the area.
Dude Chilling Park is a sign installation, originally created as a prank, which now has official public art status in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. It is located on the southwest corner of Guelph Park at the 2300 block of Brunswick Street in the Mount Pleasant area of the city .

Situated over the Coal Harbour Community Centre, this park’s rolling lawns overlook busy Coal Harbour. There is a wonderful combination of open, sunny spaces and quiet spots surrounded by cascades of flowers and foliage, and views of Vancouver’s lovely downtown, harbour, and mountains are always present.
Coal Harbour Community Centre — located on the Seawall near Stanley Park — has programs for all ages and abilities, and rooms for all occasions.
